Laboratory Evaluation Of Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome: Other Laboratory Tests (respiratory Function Test, Thyroid Function Test, Etc)

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), is a common medical condition that occurs in approximately 5% to 15% of the population. Although polisomnography is the gold standart of diagnosing sleep breathing disorders, other assistant methods, such as laboratory findings, arterial blood gas examination, urine study, chest graphy, respiratory function tests, electrocardiography, support the diagnose and can also be used for differentiation but not enough to determine the diseases.
