Sialolithiasis

Sialolithiasis is the second most common disase of the salivary glands after mumps. It is the disease of adults especially between 30-60 years. Male Female ratio is 2:1. Submandibular gland is the most common localization of the disease. Detailed history, physical examination and radiological investigation is the main algoritm for the diagnosis.
